The Board of Trustees for USAHR is SEVEN, all elected by the membership, with no Executive Council. Region directors function as advisors to the Board. Regions were determined in 2019 and amended since then, by the number of Purebred Arabians in an area. There are two Trustee-at-Large positions to be sure everyone is included. Members are required to be a breeder but not required to have business management experience. Such experience is a plus though not a requirement.

Modernizing with technology the process of registration and transfers to ensure USAHR has the Best Horse Registration System available for Purebred Arabians. Business model plans are a part of the administration of the Registry which is to register Purebred Arabian horses, enable Transfer of Ownership and for the Promotion and Welfare of the Purebred Arabian horse. All work done within the auspices of US Arabian Horse Registry are by volunteers as USAHR is solvent and debt-free. Philosophic and Operational, the Registry is set up to be just that, a Registry for Purebred Arabian horses. Promotion, research, preservation of the Purebred Arabian Horse and Breed is the purpose of the USAHR Foundation to be established. Shows are not on the horizon though recognition IS on the horizon.
