
Performance, Versatility, Conformation, Disposition, are the Hallmarks of the Purebred Arabian; they excel in Sport Disciplines, Superb Working Ranch Horses, Endurance, Competitive Trail Riding, and Family Riding Horses. A long time ago these statements were made regarding the Arabian Registry but did not come to be. This Registry is on the course to make these statements reality.
Vision statement: “To incite a passion to own and enjoy the Purebred Arabian horse”.
Mission statement: “To aid, foster and promote the preservation and improvement of the Purebred Arabian horse”.
Aspiration: “To be a respected organization that values and accepts responsibility for keeping accurate and reliable records, is responsive to customer needs, and actively supports promotional activities and programs on behalf of the Purebred Arabian horse.”
USAHR goals: “Promote responsibility in the ownership, use and breeding of Purebred Arabian horses thus providing market development, customer satisfaction, and a registration database for a structure serving these needs.
To ensure the welfare of the Arabian Horse is paramount and every Arabian Horse shall at all times be treated humanely and with dignity, respect and compassion. To conduct all business affairs with integrity, sincerity and accuracy in an open, forthright manner. The US Arabian Horse Registry recommends and expects all persons will conduct themselves in an honest, forthright, ethical and sportsmanlike manner in their relationship with each other at any time they are involved at Purebred Arabian horse related matters. US Arabian Horse Registry promotes the use of Purebred Arabian Horses in many different types of activities, multitude of disciplines, as this is a very versatile breed.

USAHR’s prohibition against inhumane treatment applies to USAHR members and non-members.
The functions of US Arabian Horse Registry are the maintenance of a stud book for Purebred Arabian horses, including registrations, issuance of certificates, transfers, and including resolving disputes as to whether a horse is a purebred, limited investigating of related issues, and responding to inquiries from third parties or fact finders in connection with third party disputes regarding ownership. The average Arabian enthusiast wants good service, swift service, and reliable information. These average Arabian owners want operational systems that will result in better service to Arabian horse owners at less cost.
USAHR is an IRS approved 501(c) 3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve the Purebred Arabian breed through registration of Purebreds and activities related to the promotion and preservation of the Purebred Arabian. There will be a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Foundation for the purpose of Education, Genetics, and Scholarships. USAHR operates on a no-debt, no outside financing basis thus needing your donation to assist in the various projects. US Arabian Horse Registry is dedicated to improving the life and use of Purebred Arabian horses through genetic research and education.
US Arabian Horse Registry is just that, a registry. USAHR controls its own Online Stud Book and Registry [Registration]. USAHR is a non-profit corporation 501(c) 3 Non-profit approved by the IRS and the Texas Secretary of State. USAHR does not have any financial involvement with futurity programs, performance programs, or show activities. The Registry has no involvement with partbred or percentage Arabians nor with Racing Arabians who contain Thoroughbred DNA.
US Arabian Horse Registry has no involvement with US Equestrian Federation nor the Arabian Jockey Club.
The creation of a database, which includes certain genetic diseases through DNA testing, has made it possible to assist breeders, owners and veterinarians in the care of their Purebred Arabian horses. Software program creation is underway which enables a Breeder/Owner to control their Certificates of Registration digitally as well as follow the registration process of any Purebred Arabian foal/horse being registered or transferred. This Software program uses electronic process for the registration which enables the Breeder/Owner opportunities not offered before by any registry.
The Foundation, to be established as a separate 501 (c) 3 organization, will welcome sponsorships and promotion, and preserve opportunities. USAHR believes their support is essential in promoting the Purebred Arabian horse to the public, not only those who now own a Purebred Arabian, to the Youth who will continue this Proud Purebred breed, and to those who fall in love with this beautiful, kind, loving, spirited horse.
