Jack Coleman’s Arabian Ranch, Puente CA had Riffles and Kahlseyn with trainer Johnny Hayes as shown in Western Horseman, October, 1956 issue in article “The Arabian in the West”. The conclusion paragraph to the article: ” In the immediate future, as the breed continues to increase in numbers, there seems to be every indication of increased selection pressure through performance events on the Arabian horse. The possibility of Arabians bred and selected exclusively for western riding is a development that also seems likely to occur, and it should be welcomed, as it will stimulate the breeding of better Arabians for the future.
